Health seems to be personal issue, but it is not limited to personal level. It becomes social issue in rural areas and backward classes and hence health related problems of the rural women can be solved by the NGOs
1. International Yog Day was celebrated at Nira on 21st June 2016 . All the present youth participated in Yog Day.
Celebrated international Yog Day on 15th to 28th July 2015 and Trained 150 women with Yogas and Suryanamaskar. As it was celebrated in whole India, this organization has also arranged Yog training for women, which is very useful for the health.
2. Sanitation drive –
Presentation of Clean village concept before villagers and St. Dnyaneshwar Maharaj Palakhi on Pune-Pandarpur route with the help of street plays and Bharud on 9th to 11th July 2015. People pay their attention as it was very interesting and entertaining.
Flex boards are given to the 15 primary and nursery schools giving information to them through pictures regarding personal habits of cleanliness. Because of posters and pictures children were easily understand the message of cleanliness and good healthy habits.
3. Health and Family Welfare –
a. Eggs were distributed to the mal nutritious children between 3 to 5 years age in Anganwadies for one month.
b. Milk was distributed to the mal nutritious children between 3 to 5 years age in Anganwadies for one month.
4.Health and Family welfare –
Hemoglobin test camp was arranged for free check up of hemoglobin of women. Almost 50% women found with less hemoglobin count in their blood. In the camp healthy diet and medicines were also prescribed to women to increase hemoglobin count at the earliest.
The prog was held at Gulunche. Blood Test of 250 women was made. Doctor from Pune came to attend the camp.
